Job Summary
You will be parking your truck in North York. Your start time will be between 4:30 and 6:00am. You are required to have an Android phone that supports the Fortigo app where you will be getting your daily assignments and where you will be making updates throughout the day.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for local city route
- Ensuring reefer is set and working properly, precooling of truck before loading.
- Picking up and delivery in GTA
- Reporting of any overages or shortages
- Pick up of empty trays, after delivery of order, and returning them to main facility in North York.
- Day-to-day activities include securing load, loading and unloading, updating Fortigo app, completing paperwork.
- Daily communication with our Dispatch on your progress, identifying problems and resolving them with the dispatch.
Qualifications and Skills
- Clean abstracts and criminal search required
- 3 years of DZ experience
- 2014 or newer 5 ton with Tailgate and reefer
